The Father Effect

Most of us live like orphans, even in relation to God the Father. When we live as orphans, we grasp, fight and compare. When we live as sons and daughters we love, give and appreciate.

With a father who chose alcohol and adultery over his family trusting men has been difficult. Trusting God has been difficult. Being able to resolve the issues with my father during the last two weeks of his life was a gift from God and I thank Him.
