Heard on the streets....
Gotta love Seattle. So there i was, minding my own business this evening walking to my car when a rather intoxicated young couple walked by me gaping. "HEY!" the guy called out "are you REALLY a nun?"
"Yes" I replied, humored by the situation.
"That is so COOL" the guy yelled.
Then his girlfriend whispered something to him as they passed further away and he spoke back in only a way that drunken people speak when they think they are talking quietly, which means, he answered her in full volume-
"NO! We cant give her a beer, she's a nun. She's married to Christ." he cried out.
that was a good one. loved it.
out of the mouths of drunken people....
