Some of the awesome Seminarians and myself. These guys totally rock!
I absolutely loved every minute of it.

A special thank you to Josh Johnson, Reuben Dykes, Brian Butler and all the awesome people that I met this weekend. thank you for blessing my life.

Ben has spoken accurately! As an expectant first time mother, hearing the story of your mother asking our Blessed Mother to lead you to the sisterhood moved me to tears. I often think about how difficult it would be for me to pray for my only son or daughter to answer a calling from God, but now I understand. I will continue to pray for vocations! Your story connected with me as an expectant mother and the youth in our group was amazed by your transformation. May God continue to bless you in all that you do!

Fr. Santan Pinto, SOLT 1948-2011

It is with a heavy and incredulous heart that I post the news that our beloved Father, Fr. Santan Pinto, died suddenly in a car accident after just arriving for a home visit in India. Apparently, Fr. Pinto was the passenger in a car that was struck and he died instantly. A Bishop in India, the Bishop of Belgaum, has contacted our community and confirmed this sorrowful news. Fr. Pinto's funeral will be tomorrow in India. It's interesting, you know, after just posting Father's Christmas message yesterday and then posting the clip by Fr. Barron about the true nature of Advent, we never know when God will take us home. The media and secular society loves to mock celibacy and the priesthood but it's easy to see that Fr. Pinto has more spiritual children than those people ever will. God will not be mocked.
